Having her enrolled there was the greatest thing for her – she learned so much, and it was so exciting seeing her grow and learn with your team. Our family has been part of the Boardwalk community since 2019 and we are very satisfied with the exceptional education our children are receiving during these foundational years of learning. The teachers are passionate about the Montessori program and engage with our children in a way that is meaningful and personal. Jo-Anne is deeply committed to the children and their families and provides her support on every level. Elizabeth in the office is always the most helpful and accommodating. At BWMS the children are given autonomy within a structured environment where they are taught the tools to encourage academic success in the future. Our family is grateful to be a part of this school community and we believe it offers our children the very best in early years education.

We have been incredibly impressed with Boardwalk Montessori. We have two girls who have had the benefit of being taught from Toddler through Casa and both have thrived. The personal attention each has received from their teachers and the rest of the staff has been outstanding. And we have been equally impressed with the teaching that we as parents have received regarding the science behind the Montessori method, parenting skills, and more. The schoolâs passion for children and for their success and for the Montessori method is clearly evident in all that the school does. We have been so privileged to have been able to work with such an amazing team and will miss them dearly when our younger daughter graduates next year. Our son is in his second year of the Casa program at Boardwalk Montessori School and we are very
grateful to be part of the school community. The staff are wonderful and clearly care so much for the
children. Our son loves going to school, and we are happy to know he is in such a supportive and
nurturing environment with a rich curriculum. We would highly recommend Boardwalk Montessori School

Our two-year-old daughter is in her second year in the Pre-Casa classroom, and we can’t imagine her
attending daycare/school anywhere else. The care she receives from the teachers and staff at Boardwalk
is outstanding. Every day, she is excited to go to school, and every day after school, she is buzzing and
can’t wait to share everything she learned. She has gained tremendous independence and confidence
from working with the Montessori materials under the guidance of the excellent teachers in the classroom.
Although she is only two, she is building a strong foundation for learning and curiosity that will serve her
well into her Casa years and beyond.

Our son has been a student at BWMS for the past year and a half, and we could not be happier with our
time at the school. The teachers are the kindest, most thoughtful and caring educators you could ever
hope to have – they are not only experts in the Montessori teaching style but also such wonderful people.
The school itself is located in such a lovely area and is very nicely decorated and well-maintained. Our

What I find most impressive about Boardwalk Montessori isâŠ
What I find most impressive about Boardwalk Montessori is the ability of the school to marry the proven learning methods of Maria Montessori with the realities of modern day family life. Inside the classroom, the children receive the highest quality Montessori experience from outstanding teachers and support staff, extensive materials and years of combined experience. Outside the classroom, the administration are always working on improving the day to day running of the school and meeting the always changing needs of the families of their students. Because of this, the students and their families all have a truly wonderful, special experience that in my view is unique to Boardwalk Montessori.

We are so pleased that our two little guys are attending Boardwalk Montessori. When evaluating schools one can look at ratings and ask for feedback from other parents but everything really comes down to the teacher. The teachers at Boardwalk are warm, kind and love teaching children. The extra attention our boys receive is wonderful. We look forward to enrolling out little girl.

My daughter is in her final year of the three year Casa programâŠ
My daughter is in her final year of the three year Casa program at Boardwalk Montessori. We are exceedingly grateful to all of the staff at Montessori, and particularly her teachers, Hugh and Shelagh, for creating such a warm and intellectually stimulating environment where Claire has flourished. She began as a shy, nervous three-year-old and has blossomed into a confident five-year old with a love of learning and an enthusiasm and curiosity about the larger world. At Boardwalk, the classrooms are designed to foster independent learning while developing and nurturing social skills in a mixed-age classroom. The small class size means a lot of individual attention to each childâs development, and as a younger child Claire enjoyed mentorship from older students and now is learning nurturing skills as she has grown into a mentor herself. She has embraced music, French, and art, all of which are part of the regular program. Based on our daughterâs experience, we will not hesitate to send our son for the full three year program at Boardwalk when he is ready to start school next year.

We cannot express enough how wonderful our daughterâs experience has been at Boardwalkâs Casa program. The activities in the program have not only stretched her abilities but helped her find her confidence and independence. She also finds so much enjoyment interacting with her peers and the dedicated and kind staff at the school. She is in her third and final year of the Casa program and just recently she told us âToo bad I canât go to [Boardwalk] Montessori next year!â Thank you Boardwalk Montessori for providing an incredible experience for our daughter in her early years.

We enrolled our son in Boardwalk Montessori because we were impressed with the quality of the classroom experience we observed on a visit. Boardwalk Montessori has far exceeded our expectations. Not only do the teachers and administrators do a fantastic job of imparting an excellent curriculum to the children, but they showed an almost immediate insight into our son and his particular strengths and needs. Our daughter started her first year in the toddler classroom this September and the positive impression it has had on her already, has been remarkable! From her expanded vocabulary, to her polite manners at the dinner table, my husband and I are in awe at all that she is absorbing. There truly is no greater reward then to watch your child so greatly enjoy her experience in the classroom, and her excitement in showing us all that sheâs learned, from putting on her coat all by herself, to the new songs sheâs learned and loves to sing. What a wonderful thing it is to have Kennedy wake up every morning asking to go to school!! Boardwalk, you are A+ in the Anderson household!

Finding the right childcare for our son was a task my husband and I took very seriously. As parents, we believe that one of the best things we can do for our son is to put him in a school thatwould provide him with the best foundation for learning. After all, itâs in pre-school where childrenlearn the stepping-stones to navigate themselves through life. We are thrilled that we choose Boardwalk Montessori. Parker started attending Boardwalk in September 2013 as a half day student, we love how the children are encouraged to become independent thinkers and doers, be it in academics or practical life. Parker often surprises us with things he has learned while under the care of his wonderful teachers. We couldnât have chosen a better school for Parker and we have all of the staff to thank for helping us raise our son!

I am 100% convinced that I have never met a more caring and effective group of people than the staff at Boardwalk Montessori School. Our children, one boy in Toddler and one girl in Casa, are so happy every day and they are positively thriving in the environment. I love that not only are they able to progress through the work that Maria Montessori created but the children also practice music and French and art and are genuinely infatuated with the staff and the fun activities provided outside the classroom. We wanted to write and tell you what a tremendous experience we have had as a family at Boardwalk Montessori over the last five years.
As parents, it was comforting when we dropped our boys off every morning at school to know that they were in a safe and emotionally warm environment. We were confident that they were in an enriching educational environment that acknowledged their unique personalities. When we encountered challenges with our children, you all were unfailingly supportive and generous with your guidance.
From the boysâ perspectives, they looked forward to going to school and looked forward to the work. They made special, long-lasting friendships and had an opportunity to learn what friendship is about. The structure of the classroom taught them how to function within guidelines and yet encouraged them to self motivate and find their own way.
Thank you for a wonderful five years. Our boysâ arenât just prepared for their future educational years, they are prepared for life.
